Hiking

 

Hiking on the Kenai Peninsula is very popular. There are so many trails that I will not even try to name them. The State, the Kenai Borough and all of the cities have trails. You can hike on the beaches, take trails into the woods, take trails to glaciers or take a trail up to the top of a mountain. We have water taxis that can take you across the bay to hike. One of the trails takes you to a glacier lake where you can get in a kayak and paddle to the glacier. We have no poison oak or ivy, so all you need to remember is DO NOT grab the devils club and watch out for bears!! I know all of the water taxi companies, so I can get you set up if you want to go across the bay.
